Heaven Below

Patrick Kennison & Jesse Billson

Heaven Below

Displaying stellar vocals and guitar tones as well as powerhouse songs, Heaven Below brings an exciting new sound to the world of rock music. The band is fronted by Patrick Kennison – formerly of The Union Underground – and supported by members Jesse Billson (guitar), John Younger (bass) and Chad Clark (drums).

Patrick and Jesse have both chosen B.C. Rich Mockingbird guitars to fuel the heavy sound of Heaven Below.

"Playing B.C. Rich guitars has always been the obvious choice for me," explained Kennison. "It's a guitar that is a true original, never copying another manufacturer – only building on what is legend and the unmistakable identity that turns all eyes and ears toward the player."

Standout tracks on their self-titled release include "When Daylight Dies," which was produced by Grammy-award winning/multi-platinum artist Ben Moody of Evanescence.

"Our sound encompasses the best parts of our influences," said Kennison. "We love the vocal harmonies of classic bands like Alice in Chains or the angst of legends like Trent Reznor, but our riffs and song ideas tend to come from guitar-driven bands like Metallica or even Rage Against the Machine. Once we put the vocals on, we immediately feel that our music takes on its own sound."

Heaven Below recently completed their inaugural set of live dates that saw the group spread the word even further throughout the hard rock/metal community. "Live, we set out to engage the audience with a video presentation that inter-plays our lyrics and song concepts through our performance," said Kennison. "In this day and age we believe the audience deserves a full blown cathartic experience."
