Grammy Award-nominated Alt-Country/Rock artist Ryan Adams has chosen to endorse B.C. Rich guitars. Adams, who has played and written songs on his B.C. Rich guitars for years, is preparing to release a Metal project called "Orion." The new album was recorded with B.C. Rich instruments.
"As far as songwriting goes, I pretty much have written all my songs from the prettiest ballads to the craziest rockers on my B.C. Rich Beast," said Adams. "As anyone in the band can tell you, there is only one guitar in the back of the bus for me on the road and it's my Beast. In terms of playability, comfort, and total shred zoning that guitar for me is THE ONE and I dig the workout."
Since 2000, Adams has released 11 albums, primarily on Lost Highway Records. He has produced albums by Jesse Malin and Willie Nelson and contributed to albums by Norah Jones, Counting Crows and Cowboy Junkies. In 2009, Adams left The Cardinals, the group he'd recorded and performed with since 2004, and began work on "Orion." Adams now records for his own label, Pax Americana Recording Company.
Adams explained, "I used the Warbeast and the Beast predominately on ‘Orion' as well as the new demos I am currently working on which will hopefully one day be the follow up record to ‘Cold Roses,' an album I made a while back, although this one will have a bit more Master of Puppets/Nothingface-style guitar work via all that Cali sun I've been under."
"BC Rich guitars are badass, sexy and they are scary to some people and I like all they have to offer," said Adams. "Don't hate on me because I am a freak. Tear it up y'all."
